Santa Claus' head has more than 50 different working parts, and Jack has more than 400 separate interchangeable heads, each handcrafted with a different facial expression.

Summary: A great movie made even better on Blu Ray
Comment: I have always been a big fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas and owned it for years on DVD. Having said that, the difference between the DVD and Blu Ray are tremendous. The blacks are blacker, colors more vibrant and the audio is amazing.
If you are a fan of this film and own a Blu Ray player (and HDTV!) and decent surround sound system, it will quickly become one of your audio showcase movies.

Comment: Its been more than a month since I ordered this movie but have not received it yet. I have sent an e-mail to amazon.com but I have not heard from them. I would like to know how much longer is going to take for me to receive my order. What happened to it?????

Summary: one star, but for only one reason....
Comment: I give it one star for only ONE reason, it doesn't work on my blu ray player. I live in Australia and have had problems only with FOX blu rays... till now.
I'm guessing disney have now begun coding the blu rays too. Either way, it doesn't work on my player, unfortunately... I LOVE THIS FILM!!!

Comment: This dvd is still amazing. I really enjoy the quality of the movie. I liked how it is restored. The special features are great too. Just be careful about the digital copy. Disney forgot to include my code so I could access the digital copy. But besides that, I really enjoyed my purchase. I can't wait to watch it again. Love it!

Comment: Tim Burton has created a masterpiece with The Nightmare Before Christmas.
In the Blu-Ray Format you see the amazing amount of detail that has been painstakingly built into this movie. The color and shadings are more impressive than it has ever been seen in Theaters. The depth looks very
much like the 3D film that was re-released last year. The over all look
including color depth exceeds the 3D version. This is a must own for collectors who want to show off there home theater.
