Summary: Quality is poor but it gets the job done
Comment: Wow this thing came apart right after unpacking it. The AC end snapped open exposing the wiring. Thank goodness for electrical tape. It charges fine is still safe with the electrical tape holding it together - it was just poorly assembled or is made with weak plastic and poor glue...who knows??? The sad thing is that it shipped from Cowen (an OEM part) for my Cowen Iaudio brand mp3 player - this review should be no reflection upon their mp3 players because they are outstanding and IMO better than the Apple Ipod.

Comment: But if you own the U3 you don't need it. Just plug it in to a USB port and it will charge that way. You won't need it if you're purchasing the IAUDIO U3. By the way, I highly recommend the player.
