Editorial Reviews:

The Sansa m200 Series MP3 players add to SanDisk's growing line of products for the audio market. Created by the leaders in flash memory, this flash-based model provides high-quality digital music playback at an affordable price. As a replacement to SanDisk original Digital Audio Player line, this improved look also includes Sansa's excellent navigation: songs sorted by title, artist, album, genre as well as play list support. The Sansa m200 Series MP3 players are one of the first to provide Microsoft PlaysForSure Subscription support.

Summary: Small, Lightweight, Great Deal
Comment: This is a great little mp3 player for the price! I can fit over 96 songs on it, and the single AAA battery lasts for over a week, even with listening throughout my commute and most of the work day. It's lightweight so I can toss it in my bag or pocket, and since it was so affordable, I'm not worried about scratches or dropping it like I would with an ipod. With songs downloaded and dropped into the player from sites like LimeWire, I can change my lineup as often as I like. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and will be getting one for my mom for the gym, too.

Summary: Perfect for my simple needs
Comment: Short version: If all you need is something cheap and simple to play a few albums or the radio while you do other stuff, this is perfect.

The rest:
I got this for the cheap price after my 2-year old Rio decided it wasn't ever gonna turn on again. It doesn't have much space, but since I only listen to a handful of albums at a time anyway, that doesn't matter at all. It's also got radio (an upgrade from what I'm used to) if you're REALLY bored with your songlist.

The radio is not perfect. I haven't played with it a ton, but if it's in your pocket and rotating a lot then the signal strength will vary from clear to static fairly frequently. I find keeping it in my hand so it's stable and I can easily find a new station is the best way to use it.

I'm not much of an expert on sound quality, but it's great if you just need something to listen to while traveling or at the gym.

Summary: Great for the price
Comment: Easy to sync with windows media, great product for the price (paid $9.00 for a refurb.) If you need a unit for the gym or any other application where breakage or loss is possible, this hard to beat.
