Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product Comment: Great product - has too many discs and is not easy to install so you can use it without having the discs. Our copy came with 2 of the same discs and as result was missing one. Had to wait a few days for replacement disc, but the manufacturer did send the replacement quickly.
Customer Rating: Summary: Operating system information is WRONG! Comment: This product is not for Windows XP. I purchased this only because the product information indicated that it would work on XP, only to find out that the product information on the box itself does not include XP. So, I returned it - before opening it, thankfully. Amazon, read closer!
Customer Rating: Summary: repackaged very old program Comment: When it starting looking for "Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer" I suspected something was up. (Who has Netscape any more?!)
But when it didn't recognize Quicktime version 7 on my computer and tried to install Quicktime 3, I knew that I was dealing with a repackaged very, very old program.
It won't work with Quicktime 7, and Quicktime 3 is too old to work with XP.
The installation program acts like something from the early Netscape days and takes forever to, finally, not work at all.
The disks say "2005" on them, but this is obviously just new packaging for a program that was old when Bill Gates was a boy.
Quicktime 3! Are you kidding?
(By the way, Quicktime 3 is from 1998 not 2005, the date on the disks)
Customer Rating: Summary: Just what I was looking for Comment: This is a complete set of all those maps tucked into national geographic magazine up thru 2000. I sue them in my son's homeschooling, for reference, and just for looking at.
