Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Ironing Board Comment: This is an excellent ironing board. It is heavy and will last years and years. That may be its drawback, this one has no wheels and so is a little heavy to move around. The quality for the price was also excellent.
Customer Rating: Summary: great product Comment: I was hesitant at first to buy this because of the price, but I am so glad that I did. It is such a stable board and I love the extra width. I just bought one of the power steamer irons, and liked the fact that there is an extra spot at the end of the board to rest the iron. I don't have to worry about the iron falling off the board, and I still have the whole length of the board for ironing surface. I am a quilter, so I use my iron all the time, and this is a pleasure to use. It is very stable, and I love the many height adjustments. I am fairly tall and it is great to have a board that is not made only for people who are 5 ft 2". I think this board will last me until I leave this earth. The pad is excellent too, three layers, very snug fit, and certainly contributes to the quality of my ironing. Don't hesitate, it is a worthwhile investment. If you love to iron (like me) it will make the job truly pleasurable, if you hate to iron, it will make it a lot more bearable. Either way, it is a good investment.
Customer Rating: Summary: Rowenta Iron the best iron Comment: I am so very happy I chose this iron. It is the best iron I have ever owned. If you choose this one, you will not be sorry. The steam is amazing and it irons so smoothly. I even purchased their ironing board and that too, is the best.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not worth the money Comment: I replaced the ironing board my mother got in 1957 with this...what a mistake! The first one fell repeatedly, even if you weren't in the room. That caused my new iron to get the sole plate bent. The cover started coming apart the first few weeks too. Contacted Rowenta and they had me send the cover and the iron to be "reviewed". They replaced the ironing board and the iron...but alas...the new ironing board is crooked and rocks, causing the new iron to fall off and bend the sole plate. Now I have a rocking ironing board and a bent iron that cost me over $200! Keep your money, buy a $25 ironing board and a $25 iron...you will be better off in the long run!
Customer Rating: Summary: Finally an ironing board that is well worth the money! Comment: Rowenta Ironing Board. It flipped right up, and it has been up ever since. There is a 2009 16-month calendar out called "Extreme Ironing" from the Extreme Ironing Bureau that is bizarre and intriguing. Buy It! It gives a whole different meaning to a "well-pressed shirt'!
