Perfect for the young trike-rider, this innovative model from Radio Flyer offers some remarkable features that both children and adults are sure to love. The removable, 4-position push handle on the steering wheel enables you to turn the front wheel while your child rides. When she's old enough to steer on her own, you can remove it. The freewheeling pedals allow your child to coast while you push, and the sturdy, tubular steel frame has flip-down foot rests. Also features 10-inch front wheel, durable molded wheels with grip tread, soft removable cargo pack, adjustable seat and ringing bell. Measures approximately 30" x 21.5" x 23".

Customer Rating: Summary: Great first tricycle Comment: I gave this to my grandson and granddaughter for Christmas. They are 17 and 22 months old so both on the young side, but would grow into the experience of pedaling a tricycle. We decided to buy it anyway for both of them so there wouldn't be trouble when we would be in the same room giving the same thing to both toddlers. They opened their wrapped tricycles at the same time and the rest was history. Being in Florida the rest of the day was spent outdoors playing with the tricycles. No complaints. They both sat on the tricycles with they're feet on the pedals. One tricycle had pedals that moved when no feet were on them. The other tricycle had pedals that didn't move unless pushing by their feet. Don't know how that happened since I assembled both and thought I did it the same way. The directions are a little confusing because they leave a lot of the instructions up to the illustrations with letters and arrows. It would be good if they labeled the parts and then wrote out what they wanted the parts to do, especially when trying to put the handlebar stem in to the body of the tricycle.
We haven't had a lot of time to see how well these tricycles hold up, but for the price they are everything my grandchildren and I would expect from their first tricycles. Our backs also thank Radio Flyer while my children and I guided them down the sidewalk for hours.
Customer Rating: Summary: My 2 year old is havig fun Comment: My son received this for his second birthday. Once he got the knack of pedaling he was off!!! I like that I can help him with the steering it is nice for strolls around the neighborhood.
Customer Rating: Summary: Cheap Crap Comment: We have model #53 (supposedly improved) and WOW is it poorly made. The front wheel fell off while my son was riding it (no injuries -- but, seriously, ?????!). Even after "fixing it" the handle bars wiggle front to back more than 1cm. We consulted an experienced bike tech who admitted to having junked more than 1 of these for similar reasons. It's ridiculous how cheap this trike is. Shoddy crap. Nostalgia aside, I wish we'd bought a Kettler and saved the trouble...
Customer Rating: Summary: Tips over & poor quality! Comment: This tricycle is such a disappointment. It has broken or worn in several areas, for example despite repeated tightenings, the handle bars do not stay true and turn the wheel as they should. It also tips over WAY to easily- just asking for an injury. I would not recommend this to anybody.
Customer Rating: Summary: Liked it and then stopped liking it Comment: I read the other reviews about not being able to assemble it or parts not working correctly and I haven't had any of those problems. It has worked as advertised for our child so we have like it but now, we are disappointed. Our son has outbrown the need to have a parent steer it for him so we removed the parent steering to allow him to do on his own and guess what? It has no brakes. We live in a hilly neighborhood so there is only two ways to stop...hit something or put your feet down. He likes riding it but can only do so in our garage since our driveway is on a slope. So overall I would say that it is a good attempt but not to great of a product. I went to the store today and bought a different one that he can ride on walks with us in the neigborhood that has brakes....so this one was a waste of money.
