Summary: Freedom From Suffocation
Comment: Honestly: if you have allergies, this is one review you should take to heart. This, and all the others saying this filter has helped them. I came to a new apartment this year and the first night I got literally zero minutes of sleep because my noses was running full-on, non-stop. Not trying to be graphic, but I do wish to show you what a terrible thing in my life this filter has eliminated; and it HAS eliminated it. It's outrageous how well this thing works.
Twice each year, for two weeks in the spring and two more in the fall, allergies make me their b**ch. Moving into this new aforementioned apartment was before allergy season, so it must have been filled with dust and/or mold. But I plopped this filter down and I have had zero problems whatsoever. My nose did not run at all the VERY next night, the second night I stayed at my new apartment, and my allergies never came this fall. Apparently the quality of the air you sleep in plays a powerful enough role to eliminate even daytime allergy problems. This product has changed my life. Buy it, fellow wheezers.

Summary: Surprisingly Efficient
Comment: I purchased this unit not expecting the performance that it produced. My partner has severe allergies and asthma, so I purchased a RabbitAir unit for the upstairs area where our bedroom is. It covers 600+ sq. feet and works very well if you need extensive protection.
But we needed something for the sub-ground floor that would help during waking hours. While my partner was away I decided to make over that area including priming and painting. I put the are purifier in that area and cut a universal charcoal filter and placed it over the regular filter in the TrueAir. It was amazing and made the area much easier for me to work in. ( I did open a window during the day.)
I even touched up some paint areas downstairs the day she came home from out of town and you could hardly smell anything.
For the most part her sneezing and runny nose attacks are all but gone down in the lower part of the house.
If you need something for either severe allergies during daylight hours or light to moderate allergies this really helps.
**Tip. Buy some universal carbon filter sheets and cut to size to over lap fit the standard filter the cover will press right on. It not only helps with odors, but will prolong the life of the regular filter. I found the best price on the Universal carbon sheet filters at [...]

Summary: Works Great!
Comment: I bought one to replace an old one I had which was bigger put amazingly this works great maybe even better. Its small and pretty quiet unless set on the "high" setting. Its easy to clean and judging by how dirty the filter gets... this thing SUCKS everything up. Definitely worth the price.
Only downside is that its very light and I feel that if I drop it or if it gets knocked off the dresser... it will shatter.

Summary: Great Product!!
Comment: This is a great product! My husband and I ordered it because we live in an apartment complex and the lady beneath us smokes. We were having trouble breathing at night, and waking up with stuffy noses and sore throats. I've had this for about 2 weeks now and we sleep BETTER THAN EVER!! This air cleaner gave us clear sinuses and GREAT sleep! Highly recommend this!

Summary: Cleans the Air, but Filter Cost Adds Up Fast
Comment: This product is not a true HEPA purifier. Its ok though, because it does work. I bought two of these for the storage room of my hosue, where the cat litter box is kept.
My cats are too picky. They will only use one brand of litter and even though it is supposed to be dust-free, it is not. This unit captures the cat litter dust well, but the filters turn grey (the litter is grey) very fast. Replacing them adds up, especially when I feel like I am getting less than 120 days of filtration out of them.
Overall, this unit works well, but the cost of replacing the filters has caused me to purchase units with permanent HEPA filters.
